ASRA Minutes 9-9-07

· Meeting called to order at 6:40 p.m.

· The website will be up and running in the next couple of days. The address is www.akronsoccerrefs.org.

· For anybody interested in upgrading, contact Chuck Montague & Terry Campbell for assessements and Bill Nest & Rick Hanna for info on training.

· Bob Kaschner spoke about the registration process.

· Re-registration will be online this year.

· If you are 18 or older, you must complete a risk management program. Stop at the point where it says to pay online. DO NOT pay online.

· You must have the risk management program completed by the test date of October 28^th.

· The $35 USSF fee will be paid online (separate from the risk management program payment screen).

· The $15 ASRA fee must be paid the day of the test.

· You should be receiving a letter from US Soccer with your password, which you will need to re-register.

· Assigning is going well. Mike Good, the HS assignor, is looking for middle school refs. MS games pay $35 a game. If you are interested, contact Mike at mgood2@neo.rr.com.

· Chuck Montague provided 1 hour of instruction on game mechanics.

· Meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m. The next meeting will be Sunday, October 7, at 5:45 p.m. at the Polish American Club.
