ASRA Minutes 10-7-07

  1. Meeting called to order at 5:43 p.m.
  2. The GAASA playoffs are this week. We will be paying mentors to go watch some referees on both Saturday and Sunday. If you are interested, contact Chuck Montague.
  3. Use common sense when giving out cards, particularly red cards. Please consider the age level & the offense.
  4. Our social will be Sunday, October 28 at 6:30 p.m. The test will be offered, and we will also have elections for 1st Vice President and Secretary. Chuck Montague announced he will not return at 1st Vice President. Jack Renkel Jr. expressed an interest in returning as Secretary.
  5. Make sure to check player passes for NOASA games. We have had some issues with illegal passes.
  6. Don’t forget USSF registration will be online and to have that completed before the 28th.
  7. The Bothwell Cup tournament will be October 20 & 21. Contact Dusty Matthews for games.
  8. Chuck Montague provided 1 hour of instruction on reality refereeing and PK shootout procedures.
